The Vice-Chancellor of KI resigns
The Vice-Chancellor of Karolinska Institutet, Anders Hamsten, will resign his position.
In a letter to DN Debatt he explains that the confidence in him is lost.
”It will be difficult for me to continue to act as Vice-Chancellor of Sweden’s most successful university with credibility and effectiveness. For that reason I am resigning my post”, Anders Hamsten writes.
The investigation that Karolinska Institutet has introduced against Macchiarini will be reopened, KI simultaneously notifies on their webpage.
